I think it's unfortunate that Lou Iturra's reputation is so wrongly being mauled and mugged here.
Larry, I think you jumped the gun a bit here. Actually, comments on this thread, including from the original poster, have given me the impression that Mr. Iturra is a hard working, stand-up guy who's willing to, and often does, go the extra mile for his customers. I don't own a bandsaw, but when I do, I'll definitely be looking his way. He comes away from this looking pretty darn good! As long as there's no flaming involved, it should be okay to remind vendors, and customers, that communication failures can hurt the bottom line for both. In this case, I don't think there was even a spark, let alone a flame.

I agree with Carlton. If not for Don's previous postings, most of us would not even know about Iturra Designs. The only true flame I've seen is Larry's post, and he should have have handled it privately with Don as well. I also hope that this is not a precursor of the kind of censorship we can expect at the ASIA forum. Don A38779.7214351852

That's enough...

No need to take sides on this. Don made his point, Larry made his. Let's not all pile on.

Well, I feel it's time for me to deal with this head-on, in public.
I was really ticked at Larry for his post, and even had some words with him via PM. I wasn't kind.

Then I got really thinking.
I believe there is a large part to what he said that was probably true. I think it bothered me to hear it, because I saw the truth in it and hated what I saw in me. Humble pie tastes very bad.
I was frustrated with a vendor, and should never have mentioned his name. It was needless. It served no purpose, other than allow me to immaturely vent a frustration somewhere that I really should not have vented. To that end, a vendor that I really do have great appreciation for may have inadvertantly been cast in a light that they really did not deserve. I am going to start a thread to publicly apologise for that.
Please don't take sides. There may have been some merit to my frustration, but this was not the place to vent it.Don Williams38779.7933333333
