Is it OK to mention or post a link to another forum here?
There is a new one devoted to 'kit building' that looks promising. It's not mine, and it's not commercial, but I don't want to offend, or step on toes.

Come on Bruce??? First... I don't know why you posted those remarks. Nobody got slapped for mentioning the ASIA forum. My only comment was that it is a little hard to watch someone round up a whole gang of people and try to drive them to another forum.

It is sort of like showing up to a party and saying... Hey, there is a great party at this place across town... want to go?

At best that might not be good judgement... but it isn't against the rules per se.   But we know your motives are innocent enough and it is no problem..

and for the record... you can post about other forums here.

It's all good... but gheesh...     Brock Poling38782.8030671296

"I just read the great thread at this forum", "Hey you should see the plans they have posted at that forum", "I learned so much from what so and so said at what ever forum". This is all very appropriate, but ragging on this or an other forum isn't. Even little complaints tend to get blown out of proportion. so use discretion and it is OK if it pertains to luthierie.MichaelP38782.8124884259

I should jump in here as I was the one who brought up the ASIA mention on Bruces forum. I do think it's fine to mention other forums of course, we have all benefited for the other luthier forums.

I guess I was just feeling like another one would just saturate the "market" so to speak that's all. I realy like all the input we have here at the OLF, that's why I don't post at any of the other forums anymore, not saying that it's wrong too, by all means, post away, there are other's out there that are not here at the OLF and they need your help also.

Bruce, I've pm'd you.
