Is there a way to subscribe to threads? I have looked and can't seem to find a way.

You want 'em emailed to you? I don't think you can. You gotta come here and read 'em. Just like PM'ing folk, it's all right here, no third party.

Barry, You can save the thread to your computer using the right click, and save on any pic in the post. That`ll save the complete thread for you. You`ll probably want to edit the file name, though. (I save what I want in My Documents file). When you want to use them you have to do it from your Desktop. If you try from here on the OLF, it won`t work correctly. Just minimize the OLF and open My Documents, Browse, choose your file with the internet emblem on it and you`re off to the races. These can be attatched to e-mails if that`s what you`re wanting to do. It can also save some searching in the archives. Hope this helps.
Coe

A lot of forums allow you to subscribe to the threads that you chose and you get an email notification that someone has posted a new message to the thread. For those of you who also go to the MIMF know what I talking about.

I was just curious.

We have the technology to do that, our soft ware is capable, but Brock has told me that the moment we activate that option it bogs down the server. I'm not sure why. I would love that option to work too.
Maybe its time to try again

Yeah, this feature is a little buggy, it ends up killing the server and REALLY slowing it down, so we turned that feature off.

We have been thinking about upgrading to the newest version, if we do, we may try again.

I don't see why it would really be a benefit here. On some forums a topic might go unanswered for a couple of days or so, but at the OLF it is VERY rare that a post isn't answered very quickly. Check the forum daily or 19 times a day like some of us and you can't miss a thing.

Ron
