What it all comes down to is that you get what you pay for. I also have some Millwalkee routers that are fantastic.
If you want tools buy the best you can afford. Harbor freight quality won't cut it. I agree the 310 is outstanding and Porter Cable is one fine tool.
IF you buy a cheap tool you will spend more in the long run as you will never be happy. A quality tool is more of an investment than a purchase.
