It's inset and glued. I plan on leveling it and to start engraving it hopefully tomorrow night. Still planning on a Tuesday ETA for the headstock- progression pics after it's done.

O.K it's sanded, and touched up. Nothing sanded through! (cheers from the crowd)- That is always a possibility with a reverse- set inlay- the thinnest materials are now at the surface, not the bottom where they would normally be.
Waiting for glue to dry- then sand again, the engrave.
