Well they say little things please little minds

I bought the item below from Stewmac.

Waverly Guitar Peghead Bushing Reamer

Guess a lot of you probably already use this or something similiar, the timing was perfect as I had a neck to do this afternoon, and it works a dream, up until now I have just been using two a drill to counterbore, but I find it can sometimes wander a fraction.

Anyway just thought I'd post for anyone who might be interested.

I second that - it is well worth the money.

I love it too. I chucked mine up in a hand drill to do a peghead that
was already finished. It worked like a dream. I cleaned the finish
drips out of the peg holes before I reamed them. No chips and those
bushings sit great.
