Peebels, I spied your multimeter on your workbench, even noticed your name scrawled on it. But it didn't occur to me that you were an electrician too.

Well, what did you do today? I dont' have any pics but I spent the morning cutting claro walnut, and man is it purty. This after noon I gotta go fix some lights and play electrician.

I'm trying to quit, but my doctor advised me against it. He says I really need to eat at least once a day!

I've been doing the electrical thing since 1969 in apparatus repair shops and as a manager, field engineer, shop owner, instrument technician, and journeyman wireman.I recently found myself in a layoff (we built a new Harrah's hotel and big event center) so I get to work on guitars more than usual. I cleaned up my workbench, scraped the binding that I glued on yesterday, and dug out a cocobolo solid body to measure up to make a neck. It'l be my first set neck from scratch, my own body style twin humbuckers, and a tunematic.
I've got a customer bringing over a Les Paul for a refret. Hopefully he'll want the set neck cocobolo.
The other day I asked one of my freinds why he only works 3 days a week. He sid" 'cause I can't get by on 2".
Take care

Al

My afternoon was a wash, new ballasts at a friends sporting goods store. No guitars makes me sad, but richer.
