anyone ever heard of Ben Harper, he's on the cover. Tatoo man. I bet he plays a mean guitar, looks like a reso or hawaiian slack key?

Okay, Gryphon has a new cool logo/drawing on their add. The Gargoyle holds a nice guitar and mandolin in admiration, nice.

McPherson has a beautiful flamed redwood top on a dark body, that's new.

Rick and Mr. Duncan have a nice half page spread on the D-tar.

Santa Cruz, oh, nice, a whole page, says something doesn't it. I've only played two Cruz's, several years back, they still remind me.

Peavey? Finally, they got the message... a solid top... it's the least they could do. Of course... it's an acoustic.

Taylor Grand Symphony Teja Gerken. He likes 'em.
No Pickguard. Tip of the hand, eh....

LMI, Hoffman, Bourgeois, Collings ads.

Anyone ever heard or played an ergo? p53, sliding sound port.

Now I like this shape, wow. Parker Acoustic p54. That's special, I bet they sell a ton.

Langejans, yes sir, gotta love it.

My gosh, I can't believe it, it's a first, MUSICIAN's FRIEND, a whole big ol' page. The best for less, shipped to your door.

Goodall, Froggy, K and K, gotta mention that.

You gotta be kidding, Hohner, with a HW300 Countryman Flattop, only $179 MSRP. equipped with NUBONE Nut and Saddle (i wonder if that includes a case and shipping)

Oh Wow, you gotta see this, Schwartz Guitars extends his cutaway with a bevel. Quite innovative. I like it.

Petros redwood on african rosewood, Bruce is a good guy.

Hey hey hey, BorDeaux Custom Inlay, I like the stunning vine in this picture Paul, way to go, How about a close-up?

This one is nice too Paul. I love dolphins.

www.kitguitarbuilder.com Wonder what that's all about?

Howard Klepper, Berkeley, CA p.116

Jeffrey Yong, Luala Lumpur Malaysia, you should see his guitar... wowie!

Galloup, Big Rapids MI, a Brazilian Cutaway fingerstyle

Charis, Allied, GuitarGal.com

And on the back cover, they got me big time. A VW bus sitting at Loch Ness. How I miss my bussssssss! And it has the cutest little 00Martin-18 leaning against the corner of the van. Makes me wonder if anyone has adjusted the valves on that thing lately or serviced the air cleaner?

That's it. Time to go to work, or grab a bite and go read a minute....

Ben Harpers Live from Mars CD, Disc 2, is all just him and his acoustic live. Very good CD. I can do without his electric playing. To look at the guy and hear him you would never know it was the same guy.

Still waiting.

Bruce, if that bus is still running, somebody must be taking care of the valves and air cleaner, oil changes too. It's gotta be what, 34 years old (!) if it's air-cooled, eh?

Oh, it's really nice, what you can see of it. Nice fresh paint. Someone is babying it for sure.
