ok so in recent developments i chipped the fretboard while cutting ..... stupidly and trying to go too fast its at the top of the first fret.....
any ideas? its not a huge chip and may almost disapear when sanded etc but if not ? what do i do short of getting another blank?

If its an ebony board, it should be possible to fill mix up some epoxy with ebony dust and fill with that, check the colour as you mix it to get a good match.

country coding on your computer DVD drive and then the drive locks on
the last setting.

Multi coding DVD players arent hard to source though.

...as they do the world over. I've yet to see a PC drive that isn't region locked. Many are hackable (download new firmware, void your warrantee, but region free), some can be avoided via certain software doodads (I think, anyway), but none play several regions (unless you count '0' as a region, anyway).

In terms of standalone players, many, many have remote control hacks available. See videohelp.com for a database of players, hacks, features, etc.

the root of the problem being i dont have a multi region vhs player on my computer :D
