Got my box-o-wood from Steve and inside were 2 VERY NICE sets of Flamed mahogany, stuff that I have never had before. Also, 1/2 dozen of Steve's very dark Brazilian Rosewood Bridge blanks, almost as dark as ebony. Just what I asked for.

Thank you Steve!

IF you' all haven't check out what Steve has, do your self a favor and DO!

I was first introduced to Steve thru my bud Matt Gage, he is adamant about using Steve's stuff and told me in no uncertain terms that I need to get some of Steve's wood. That was a quite a while ago and I have to say every thing that has came to me via Steve as has been
quality wood.

I just felt the need to give Steve some props after getting my wood this week. That mahogany was truly the finest I have ever had my paws on!

Thanks again Steve!

More later!

The other great thing about working with Steve is he does absolutely everything. Answers the phone, packs the orders, procures the wood, cuts it, sands it, keeps an eye out for things he knows you like ... the whole bit.

I really like this kind of personal attention. I got another box of stuff from him this week (... man I got it bad... Paddy and I should start a support group...)

Please don't. I suffer from Wood Envy. I've been doing good, and my shrink thinks I've made good progress lately, but if you go and show any pics of Steve's Brazilian, I'll lose it and have to be committed.

I also received a box today from Steve and it was full of Brazilain Rosewood...bridegblanks, 5 of them. They are totally awesome! I never worked with Brazilian before but am looking forward to using these. For any classical builders out there, these are perfect replicas of a Hauser bridge. For me this will be a huge time saver. I don't think I can make them as cheap as Steve sells them, and it includes the Brazilian with the 2 bone strips already inlaid. You can't beat this deal.

Cheers!

John

Here are a couple things in my latest package.

Hondo mahogany big enough for a 00.

A sampling of the bridge blanks I bought from Steve... Man, these smell GOOD!!!

And look how close this one comes to matching a set I have had for a long time.
