If you don't like the weather in southern Illinois, wait a few minutes, and it will change. Well it did. Went from 93 deg to 85, and we got a lightning show to write home about. Almost as good as the lightning storm from "War OF The Worlds".The rain came down in torrents, and the wind blew. Then it went to Indiana. No damage here just a nice show, and some relief from the heat.

AL, we spent nearly 2 hours under our steps in the basement yesterday, tornados all around us, none found us, thank God!

Michigan is weird weather too

Years ago, My Dad got the funny idea he wanted to move to Kentucky and raise horses. That was until, as he was driving out there, he got a glimpse of his first tornado! Keeeboshed that one, real fast!

If you can try and convince a storm to come to Northeast Texas, we just cut hay on our ranch and due to a really dry spring we only made about 25% of what we normally do. I long for those week long slow rains

Speaking of Texas, I'll be in Gainesville and Dallas next week. I'm looking foreward to seeing some old freinds.
