LOL Hesh!

#2 Got bound a few weeks ago, #3 Got the back glued on Thurs. evening, and top on Friday Morning. Neck blanks were roughed last week, and I glued the kerffed lining on #4 Friday night. Mando rimset has been done for a while - I'm successfully avoiding carving the plates!

Yah I am a fan of bluegrass, and play in a local bluegrass band. Plus I figure while I'm learning, I should stick with one design, and get my fit, finish, and tone as good as I am able for that model before I branch out. And my guitar teacher plays Mario's dreads, so I get to pick those occasionally. Very inspiring! Besides that, I just like the sound of dreadnoughts.

I think I'm gonna try a dovetail on the mando, but I might chicken out at the last minute and do a straight mortise and tenon pinned with dowels.

I did indeed. I also have the Scott Antes plans from LMI. Nice drawings with more detailed mesurements than the McCrostie plans.
