Hey, anyone know how to get this thing to launch? I downloaded it but it's hiding in the system32 folder, and won't launch?!! Thanks!

Image resizer becomes part and parcel to XP.

Open a jpg file folder. Select a picture and open it for view, or just highlight it. Right click. Instead of seeing stuff like Copy, Paste, Send, etc. You have a new option: Resize Image. Click on Resize Image a window pops up with four options regarding sizes. Small is perfect for most emails or webposts. The resized image will go to the end of the files. If you cause the files to rearrange according to name it will be next to the image you resized. Your original image is never changed, just the copy. It will say something like 10002_small.jpg, whatever the file name was originally plus whatever you select. Simple as pie.

Search for Image Resizer, if you want to try it, www.microsoft.com

Yeah, it caused me some panic and confusion, too. It's probably ready to go.

If you see the resize menu item when you right-click on an image file, but they do not resize, open a command prompt, and type the following: REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL

That should make it work...
