I'm going to see an old friend of mine next week that has been a staple to the luthier industry for a pretty long time.
I don't see him often but he used to be a neighbor and if any OLFer knows him I'd like to pass your well wishes to him.
Randy Wood is his name and if you know bluegrass from Nashville you'll recognize his name (GTR Guitars now Gruhn Guitars). George Gruhn, Tut Taylor and Randy owned the shop next to the Grand ol' Opry for a period of time and Randy has had a luthier/repair shop here in Savannah for the last umpteen years.
Anyhow, if you know him I'm sure he'd like to hear your well wishes....let me know.

Well, I don't know Randy, but I've corresponded with George Gruhn a number of times, and he's always been courteous and helpful. So, I reckon any friend of George's is a friend of mine. Say howdy to Randy for me.

Best,

Michael
