Question if I may. The fretboard binding looks like curly maple to me. How did you finish it?

Hi Anthony,

the bindings are curly maple. They are were clued and scraped flush with the fretboard and then finished by spraying with 8 coats of polyurethane. The top of them will get dirty from finger oil ...but then at least it show that I'm playing it.

Karen, great job on your guitar.
I was wondering if you could seal your maple fingerboard binding edge with some thinned out shellac and a Q tip, before it gets dirty.
