You know, I think Jeanne is a great new addition to the OLF

1. She is into Lutherie
2. She sails and is on a racing crew
3. She speaks French
4. And now I see that she gets the munchies at 2:00 AM and likes Oreos

She may be reaching the status of the "Perfect Woman" as more is revealed!!!!! I have sure enjoyed your post and sense of humor, again welcome aboard.

Is there a tub 'o lard yet to be awarded on this? I'm going with Granadillo, which by the way smells very similar to BRW, maybe a bit sweeter.

I have laughed my way through this thread a couple of times now, the Itchynosus Scratchtillitbleedsus! Serge was great.

I think it looks like Bubinga as well on that edge shot

Well, gosh

Thanks Mike! You are too kind and yes, I suppose that as everyone gets to "know" me via the forum, you will find I'm a pretty cool and talented lady. I think I am, and I hope you all will too.

Mais, je parle un petit morceau de francais. Juste assez garder Serge heureux.

(translated: I speak a little bit of French. Just enough to keep Serge happy!)

Hesh asked me to elaborate on my woodworking skills and pattern talents. I promise Hesh, I will soon!

Thanks for being a terrific bunch of "termites"!

For what its worth...The wood doesn't look that different than some paduk that I have used for my office front counter. I always hear people say that it doesn't hold it's appearance well, but my experience has been great. Beautiful grain. Other than the great orange/red clouds of dust when sanding!

BTW, I love the "latin" you folks have come up with
