Maybe you should post this auction on the front page, as you did with the previous two auctions.

Auction Specification Corrections

Please note that the fretboard and bridge are DESERT HARDWOODS: MULGA FRET BOARD & MINNERICHI BRIDGE. These are both very hard/durable as well as having extremely resonant qualities. They are rated between 13 and 18 on the hardness scale referred to at my tonewood data information page. Ebony is about 8. The hardness range is about 1 to 20 with 20 being the hardest. Both materials sand and buff to a very smooth and often glassy finish. They are both very stable with only about a 1-2% shrinkage from green to dry states.

Tim

I hate to sound overly picky but what are the dimensions on each item please.

And is the neck blank the long piece on the left side or is that binding material? Something seems to be missing?

Coolness, now we just need the dimensions.

I haven't done a scarf joint in a long time , guess I may have to learn again.

Folks,

In comparison with my good friend and our OLF sponsor Tim Spittle of Australian Tonewoods I have given little toward this auction. Tim has been incredibly generous in offering up this package, but let us not forget that the real point of this auction is to help out out mate Kevin.

Now you know that this IS a truly unique package. With the exception of maybe the Tassi Blackwood, when was the last time that you got to work with any of these species? These woods will blend together just beautifully. The images do not do this package justice at all and I can assure you all that the lucky winner will be blown away when they open up this package and discover what they have won.

Is this a shameless drum beat to try and pull a really good final figure for this auction? Why yes it most certainly is. Is this drum beat for a good cause? None better I say folk. Kevin spends his life helping and giving to others, good beget good, in Kevin's case, good should beget very freak'in good.

With that in mind, bid up my friends. Maybe one of our other OLF sponsors could sweeten the deal and dip in with a nice top to finish off this already great package.

Cheers All

Kim

Cool.

Now, I've given my good friend Serge Poirier authority to bid for me today as I will not be near a computer for this auction.

I thought that I should make it known here on the auction post so that there is no surprise's.Rod True39087.4018865741

Cool.....

Thanks to Tim and Kim our Ozzie Brothers for a great package.

This package will be coupled with one of Shane's AAA Lutz tops which I got in his "cleaning house" from last year. I will certainly keep you all up on the progress of this guitar, hoping to have it completed for next Christmas.

The guitar made from this kit will be a gift for a well deserving friend and mentor of mine. I think appropriately so considering that the Gallagher's are such generous people.

So Thank you OLF and Aust Tonewoods for a great auction.

Now, who do I send the money to and I guess Tim needs my address yes?

Congrats Rod,

I look forward to seeing what you do with this package, at least we all know that it will be in very capable hands.

Cheers and well done
