Good work Hesh. I too put my gobar deck up on a table, but I'm lazy...so I left the wheels on. Later, I realized that the wheels came in handy, because it allows me to "spin" the deck as needed. So lazy worked.

That's a great looking workshop.
Bill that was my only concern and a valid one at that. Now I can't get at the deck from multiple sides but working on the floor was terrible and made me dread using the thing.
Here is something you may consider Hesh, John Osthoff told me he has his gobar deck on a lazy susan so he can get to it from all sides for cleaning glue and such.

Hesh; I would LOVE to work in your shop...I can just imagine when I am trying a tricky four-handed maneouver on a tricky aspect of guitar building, I would find the right tool without having to dig furiously into a pile of junk to find the nut file at the very bottom of it...

In your shop, I'd just find it in it's right place...cuts out on a lot of stress...

Y'know, I have TRIED being organised in my shop. That 1ft pile of wood, tools, jigs and other mathoms seem to work, in a perverse kinda way. I'm hoping an emergent system might evolve from it one day...

Hesh,
That koa is going to make a really fantastic looking guitar.
That is a good idea that John just gave about putting your go-bar deck on a lazy susan.

Keep posting pics of that OM too!
Christian

That is some serious looking Zoot, Hesh. Your shop is looking good too.  I particularly like the white carpet.  Must be good for the lighting considering one of the other recent threads.  I don't think I understood any of that, except use lots of light.

Well, it's even exciting getting packages of Koa like that from UPS, FedEx, whoever will deliver it.

Looking good Hesh,

I like the idea of the plastic protector over the label during construction.
I wish I would have thought of that a month or two back.
I will be utilizing this small preventative in the future.

That looks fantastic bro!

You know, when I work my way town to Ann Arbor, I'm going to bring bags of saw-dust and shavings, sprinkle them all over the place and take a lot of pics!!!!

Me at the border with baggies in hand and my guitars... 'Nah, man, those are pencil shavings!!!'

Hey, Hesh. I couldn't help notice that you didn't vacuum under your band saw. I could tell by the pattern from your vacuuming. I would appreciate it if you would do that next time. Also, where are your clamps? I noticed only one on the wall? Alan
