Welcome, Chris. Gee, a mayor, huh. I think this is the first time we've had royalty on the forum.

Hi my name is Simon and I love to do drawings.

Ok so really it's John Mayes. I build acoustics and ukes, and sometimes electrics too...even some amps. I have made 11 Instructional DVD's, and sold them all around the world. I dance and rap very bad, and I've been banned from 28 states in the US.

Raised livestock for 12 years, thought guitars would be cheaper and easier. Sorry, it's only cleaner and just barely.

Working on my second instrument and no one will ever see the first one!

Josh Fuller, Beloit, Kansas. Former Chevrolet Dealer turned full-time instrument repairman(talk about a lifestyle change). I've been playing and tinkering with guitars since I was 8, so that would make it about 25 years now. Don't tell anyone, but I also enjoy playing the banjo in my spare time.

Alright, now we Canucks got both ends of the country, Charlie in Sooke (as far west as you can nearly get) And Bob in Halifax (almost as far east as you can get)

Coool, we got it covered, now if we can just get us some crazy frenchman here we'll be set..........

Newnan, Georgia

I'm happy, single and have 5 dachshunds to keep me company. I work at Delta Airlines in Atlanta at their Fuel Farm. I'm President of the Serge Poirier fan club. This is not an exclusive club as everyone here is a member - we all love you Serge. I've been playing the Spanish guitar badly for 16 years now and have no plans of getting any better. One of these days (years) I'll finally build my first instrument.

Home is 5 acres of temperate rain forest 75 miles north of Vancouver BC Canada.
Wife Judi (the most tolerant & supportive woman on the planet) Two grown daughters. 1 5/9 grandchildren. Ethan (2 1/2) is a joy well beyond expectations.
Ex aircraft maintenance engineer... still hold my licence but don't do much these days.
Wood & tool junkie (see comments re wife)
Singer songwriter with just enough chords to accompany myself. (if it weren't for the capo, a refret would involve no more than 4 frets)
Love to tinker & invent / "improve" on existing design.
Unrepentant "child of the 60s" (minus the pot)
Still love the Beatles & Dylan et al, but have recenty been known to throw a Garth Brooks CD in the machine.
Classical music & smooth (old) jazz as well as fine pickin' & singin' are all fine by me!
Fix boats in the summer & slice up Cedar in the winter to keep the wolf from the door.
At 54 years old I have finally learned how to (mostly) "enjoy the passage of time". Pity it had to take so long!
Good Cheer to all!
Dan

Evan, if EVER we make it up to NYC (and don't laugh, it could happen), I'm coming to visit, armed with lots of chocolate. We'll talk guitars and stuff ourselves silly.

Yay Evan!
