I like your design work, Wade. Do you have a website?

Thanks for the interior pic Wade!!!!
the only thing that was missing from the discussion....
I really wanted to see what was going on with the headblock with my own eyes, and can adapt it mentally to what Im thinking of trying in the future.
I love your designs BTW - very cool stuff.
This is a very cool way of making sides period, mabye
we will see more of this constructionm in the future?
I hate to be a bother, but last question..

Howard or Wade,
could you tell us how "you think" this design alteration may affect the sound of the instrument, compared to a traditional acoustic of the same size and materials?
Thanks immensely

Thanks Charlie,
It is a bit more work and some may wonder why bother but it was the best way I could think to get the shape to work.
I can't speak for Howard's recurved sholders but I'm assuming they are more a cosmetic or design choice rather than an acoustic or sonic one.
The only thing about cutaways is they take away some inner air space so I try to make up for that with a little more depth. Still, I think any change in the design of the upper bout is going to make a much smaller change sonically compared to changes made in the lower bout.
Although, take a look at some of Dave White's guitars. He may have a different take on the importance of the upper bout.

Howard commented to me in PM that he would guess that the sound wouldnt be greatly affected,
which is a pretty nice feature , eh hem...
of this feature - if thats the case,
one could potentially offer it as an option if they wanted.
But more than that, one could re-design an instrument model with recurved shoulders, without a great fear that it will be much different sonically, than the original design.
Aweswome Thanks!
Cheers
