since this is the same photo that lmi uses to illustrate their two way rod i just think that just possibly, maybe, perhaps, it just might be an lmi two way rod.

besides a one way rod does not have threads at both ends, it doesn't need them.

and it does go in with the flat bar up. if you installed it with the bar down its action would be the reverse of what is expected, that is to say that it would be lefty tighty righty loosy instead of the expected righty tighty lefty loosy. there would thus be some consternation engendered when some poor soul has occasion to adjust it, and that poor soul could even be you.

Wasn't going to say a thing until you did! Not everybody has a dirty mind...., and don't think I don't respect you for it!!

I was wondering about the RTV, I know it's used to preempt buzzing, but if its not under tension, that would be the only case where there's a buzz and I have never used one without tension.

Not really important just wondering if I'm not seeing something.
Sorry Larry I hit the post button too soon

Really nothing to it other than being sure the nuts is set back far enough to not make contact with the truss rode cover on the peghead
Ok, thanks Michael! So, just cut the slot as normal and install the rod as normal then? And start cutting truss rod access covers!!
