Yeah chord wood is going for about $210 for seasoned wood in southern NH. You can save a lot of money buying green wood, but then you'd have to wait a year to burn it. Kind of reminds me of that fable about the grasshopper and the ants.

Here where we live you can get the best deal there is on firewood. There is a palate factory nearby and they sell all their oak cut offs for $40.00 a load. A full dump truck load taken to your house and dumped where you want it. We also cut a lot of our own fire wood... just for the fun of it.
