I think that bridge position is part of what makes these small guitar speak up. Isn't that called the sweet spot. At any rate, it is far enough away from the intersection of the X braces to be freed up a little more.
I have never made a 13 fret guitar but you are right, this box has that potential.

John, beautiful guitar! I love the simplicity of your design. Sometimes simplicity is the hardest thing to pull off. You did it very well.

Oh yeah, that peghead is just down right classy looking.

Lovely job as usual John, I too really like that size, of guitar. I like the heel shape.

I'd be interested in seeing the bracing pattern as I plan a 12 fret small body London Plane SS guitar some time soon for my wife, at least it's on my growing list. Joshua will probably guess what template I'll be using!

I've got your web site on my bookmarks, it's one I look at when I want inspiration.

I swear I am sending out some wood to you this week. It's been busy!

How the collaberation guitar coming along?

Happy new year!

Thanks again fellas. Mighty supportive group.

Colin, I am building another 00 pretty soon and will take pictures of the bracing and post them. It really is pretty standard, with perhaps a few deviations from the norm. I personally think that the placement of the braces is not as important as their thickness, weight, stiffness and flexability and where each of those qualities is located. Hmmm, that did not make much sense. Hope you know what I mean.

Craig
No problem on the wood. I have been busy myself. Anytime.
