I AM reading a very good book on the geology of the Yellowstone region though. That should count for something, shouldn't it?

Regards, Steve
I've been asked by the USGS to come and do a 3D-tomographic survey of the Jellystone, whoops too much Yogi bear in my chidhood, Yellowstone supervolcano magma chamber later this year.

Don, you are so right, I am just now putting together a mammoth list of stuff I 'need' from Stew Mac. Good customer service is the best advertising there is especially when it's reported to as large a dedicated group as this one.
Joe, but did he mean verbose (oratory) or full of it (osmosis).
Both!

I heard an old salesman say that a happy customer will bring you 10 more customers and an unsatisfied one will stop a 100 new ones to buy from you. That is one reason we oughta be careful of how we talk about our sponsors. If i ever feel that i've been mistreated by one of them, i'll try to think of that old salesman's thought on it, reminding me of my responsability towards them ie to let them know by any means what happened. If i ever feel the need to stop buying somewhere, i just wouldn't go public with it because most of the times, mistakes that are made have honnestly been done.

"Life without StewMac" that's almost blasphemous! "make a list"? ... just say "I'll take one of everything that's large(over 10") and two of eveything small(under 10")". Can never have enough "stuff"...it's addictive...they should have a sign..."over one billion served".

Oh, man! I saw a TV special about that, and I've been trying to forget it ever since! More than half of our country is downwind of that puppy, and that'll be just the initial negative impact. Not all super disasters come from outer space!

No kidding? I'll be there at the end of July. We're splitting our time (a week) between Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons (Boy, I love French!). I'll be the guy with the camera!

Let me know when you're going, Steve

Hear, hear! I first dealt with Stewmac in 1977. They were top drawer then, too.
