That's really a beauty! I like the "softer" transitions between woods - more of a tone-on-tone rather than high contrast. Mighty tasty!

Do I see satin KTM-9? Or is that an optical delusion?

Mike,
I might have broken a few pieces before I was done.

You can probably tell from the picture below.
It is about .125" wide.
I think it would be pretty much impossible to bend figured maple that is .125" wide and .050" thick.
So I made it .125" wide and .125" thick. (I made a few extra pieces because I knew I'd need them.)
Then I bent them by hand, glued them in place and sanded of the extra .075".
