Hey that's a new one to go along with WAS, TAS and GAS...cool, and it's a perfect acronym Hrs and Hrs and Hrs.

Day job: Sr. Manager Business Solutions for PPG Industries. Guide development of training and consulting services for collision repair businesses.

Started building 5 years ago as a way to cut back on workaholic tendacies and now tendacies have transferred to guitar building. Have enough wood to last through retirement (which is still 10 years away) but cant stop buying more!!!!!! Have guitars in every corner of my office, on the walls, in the cellar and cant stop building!!! Some finished, some partially finished, some I sawed in half because they were so bad (during my early learning phase). Thomas Edison once said "I have failed 1000 times at this experiement but now I know 1000 ways this wont work and I am getting closer to the answer" That is how I feel about my guitar building skills.

Been thinking about building guitars since the mid-seventies. Do you think it's TIME?

Also, singer/songwriter, guitar player (if I practiced more), visual artist (if I practiced more), amateur actor, and former Public Radio announcer.

Proud father of 2 daughters. And married to a wonderful lady of 36 yrs.

Have been making guitars for about a year. I still consider myself an amature and just maybe I will consider myself a seasoned Luthier someday.

I enjoy and learn something evertime I tune in to the OLF. I also consider myself lucky to be associated with such a gathering of wonderful people in the world.

Married to Pam for 33 years (retired science teacher). Two sons: one is a statistician the other teaches chemistry and physics. Two granddaughters, ages 4 and 1 1/2.

Play guitar, banjo, jaw harp, and kazoo too. Builder of all things wooden, but a newbie at lutherie. My best moments are sitting in the swings on the front porch of our log home and picking the banjar or guitar.
