I got three or four sets last time and unfortunately, I'm on a selfimposed wood budget now .
John is on a WAB (wood acquisition budget) which is similar to what I thought a WAS was, but dealt with conditions and mandates placed by a builder's significant other.....
Jeanne, that is pretty much the case here. Actually I have enough wood to supply most of OLF for the forseable future.John How38958.6948032407

This is one I snagged today in a trade with one Mr Poling! This is going to be one of my HGF guitars, Going to top it with a silky smooth Euro top.

Thanks again Brock.

You can always count on the "Zootman" for great Zoot.
What are you going to make with this nice wood??

Hi Lance!!

I have a set of Master grade Carpathian spruce that is to die for!!
The sister set I used was just outstanding in sound quality! Compared to anything that I have used thus far, it was the best. I never buy junk zoot.
It's yours if you think you would like it for this project.
I'm just not well enough for any guitar making; at least not anytime soon.
regards, walter

Serge, mon petit chouchou!!! Votre Jeannie pauvre a eu deux jours tres terribles et tristes. S'il vous plait savoir que votre marque de poste me souris. Merci beaucoup

Serge, you are worthy - grasp the concept, play the concept through your mind over and over. Build the guitar in your mind and let it become you, When the calmness of acceptance settles upon you....DO THE CRAZY RITZ AND GO FOR IT!!

Hesh, as another tonewood supplier, I have to say, Bob has a way of finding great wood...and if he's endorsed by other folks who sell wood, that's saying something!

Considering I jumped on getting a set of that, when I have probably a couple dozen sets of flamed mahogany here to sell myself, that's saying something!

It's very hard to find flamed mahogany with this intensity of figure. Grab it while you can.

MY set!

Hey, Andy, we're pals, right????    You might leave me several sets of coco.    It doesn't grow in the middle of Arkansas. I have a friend here named Andy and he's a doctor too.    I have an uncle named Forest!!    I know a builder named Serge.     You're the best, Andy, old buddy.

Ron

I have a couple of sets that look a lot like that from Bob too. When will I get a chance to build with it, who knows.

Here is my "zoot of the month", it came in just the other day. From another of the forum's sponsors, Steve at Colonial, here are two sets of Ziricote and two sets of Mac Ebony. Matching sides and headplates are not pictured, but they are equally nice.
