Anthony, you might appreciate this article: http://www.ghostnote.net/
GNWeb/photobooth.htm

The author does product photography for companies like Proctor and
Gamble. He mentored me through a few personal art projects. A read of
it will provide some good direction.
Looks great to me Brock! Is that Madonna guitar a Prima? Really like your new logo too.
The madonna guitar is a prima guitar 1/2" deeper, and the madrose is a "regular" prima. I build a lot of those. (This is a guitar style that we learned from Frank Finocchio. Dave and I took the class together.)

Wow. Like, double wow, even. Those are some amazing pics, and the
guitars are even more amazing!!!

That's some serious inspiration, Brock. Really something to aspire to.

Brock,
That portrait style inlay (first photo) is one of the most beautiful and intricate I have ever seen. WOW. Thats simply amazing. The guitars themselves are sweet, indeed, but OMG that is one thing that just leaps off of the screen. Bravo!
Thanks for sharing those.

Brock,
Those look really good and I really like your new logo.
How do you get the guitar in tune with all the buttons oriented the same way?

Brock, I'd say you came out all aces in this thing!! Those guitars are stunning and the new logo's just brilliant! Can't wait to see your website when it's all done!

(How's that Luthier's Showcase coming?)
Brock that looks very very good...

The photos are very well done and I really like the logo, I don't regret for
one second having a pro do my photo-shoot and the next batch will go in
as well.

Your work looks very very good....

I've thought about changing my stuff a number of times, I've take some
grief over the patriotic theme, I've had friends tell me they know it turns
some people off. It was not supposed to be controversial it was just who
and what I am

it's been rolling around in the back of my mind for some time, not only
would it be a lot of work to change it but I'd have to change the website
and the whole lot. I think for now I'll just keep building guitars and let the
pieces fall where they may...

Your stuff looks awesome

-Paul-
Paul,

You just let me know when you want to give it up. I was thinking of using
the name until I saw you had it. I think it's great.

Send me the paper work, I'll sign off on that!

I think I've seen the light antiqueing on your soundboard before! What a nice touch!

   Really outstanding!

Beautiful photogeaphy! Nice logo! And heck, the guitars aren't half bad either.

Brock, I do think this is money well spent.

Really nice Brock! Will Dwight use this logo with the same labels he designed for you earlier, or will you go for something completely new?

Yes, I am using the same labels. I am starting to look around for someone who can laser etch them in wood veneer for me.

It's really nice seeing Madonna all together like that.
I remember when I got just the neck for the inlay thinking "this neck is the most solid construction I have ever seen" It just felt tight...

Those photos really show the way the pearl changes in the light. If anyone wants to know more regarding the inlay there is a whole article I wrote for it, and others, about shading, etc.. in inlay for the first new Guitarmaker magazine edition earlier this year.
I like the new logo.

Thanks Craig.

You're right, that is a great picture. I am happy as a clam about how these pics turned out, but I will tell you, nothing beats seeing it up close. The work on that inlay is really incredible.

:-)

Billy, you crack me up you funny guy

Brock the logo is pure class. And the only thing more impressive than the photography is the instruments themselves.

Superb!

Cheers
