Ive used Fender Heavy's, the celluloid type for nearly 25 years.
I've been a little concerned about those Fender picks, I heard is you light them on fire they'll explode! As fast as I play I would be in real danger!!!
Or, you could give up playing and become a hermit.
I've been thinking about becoming one with the universe! Thanks!

Don't get me wrong, I really like my metal pick and if I ever become "independently middle income", I'll go back too them. Thanks for the tips

I now use nothing but Tortis picks from Dave Skowron at redbeartrading.com. These things really live up to all the hype! Well worth the money spent. I'm convinced these are the best picks out there right now.

And, yes, no doubt picks really do make a huge difference. Just one, of course, of many dynamics that create your overall tone.

Well, if you play a Rick, you got to use a Herco.

I like very heavy Dunlop #207 "Jazztone" picks for lead work and anything else for strumming. Sometimes a Quarter back in the "Rock 'n Roll" days for that chunky sound.
