I love it. There are so many threads I'd like to comment in that I don't
want to say much more.

I agree with those who like it...man, that's daring and paid off in a big way. Stunning, really.

Hesh--

I have to admit that I was wondering, just a little, about covering all of that Lutz with color. The photo's really do your vision justice. This is a really stunning guitar.

Very unusual, but I like it! What do I know, I like sunbursts too. What did you use to get the black? I'm guessing you didn't use latex behr from lowes. Is it a dye?

What I really like about what Heshtone Guitars does is the fact that they do not conform to normal expectations of what a guitar must look like. They push the envelope a little, and are not necessarily status-quo in their visual delivery. They may not be what everyone is looking for aesthetically, but they make an artistic statement that not too many folks dare make. That is cause for some celebration.

The really great thing for Hesh is that he doesn't have to please everyone, since he refuses to sell any of his creations anyway.

Maybe, just maybe there's a lesson in there for us all. Do what we love and what works for us, and we will potentially find more passion for the craft than we thought we had.

Eventually, if Hesh decides to sell some of his creations, I have no doubt that there will be folks out there who really love his style and will seek him out.

Well said Don. Hesh knows what I think of his guitars and his ability.

Love that black! Saw Charles Fox's Ergo line at GAL this summer and want to do some in black. Yours is a beauty. Would it be rude to ask for a brief "recipe" for the steps and coatings you used?

Well, I'll just that I had the pleasure of playing a few of Hesh's guitars and the sound or playability are not going to be an issue...

And for those of you who haven't exprerienced these fantastic instruments first hand, 'nah-nah-nah, nah-na-ah'...    Alain Desforges39060.8484490741
