Larry,
I'll take a Makore Figure A set for $45. Do I paypal you the $45, or do you calculate shipping and then send me an invoice? I'm in Denver. thanks!
Tracy
Hi Tracy, I'll add you to the cut list.

I don't do paypal and will PM with details. Credit card, money order or personal checks are fine.   Please see my first post on page one.

This swap meet has really grown legs and I truely appreciate all the support for my crap.

I posted this in my first post, but I need to re-state it way back here. I accept Visa, MasterCard, money orders and personal checks.

I'll be working over the weekend getting shipments out, but a few guys would like me to hold their shipments while we continue to sort things out.

I probably missed sending PM to some buyers so if we haven't exchanged info please use the link I'll provide here to contact me with shipping and payment details. This is a secure GEoTrust web form on my website and is what I use for continuity and simplicity. I will confirm receipt of the order form and purchase with pricing. This form becomes the shop order and customer receipt and eliminates any verbal misunderstandings. If you are still queasy about putting your card number in the form, leave it out (but send the form with shipping and purchase info) and we'll do the phone thing for it.

I DO NOT use PayPal as it doesn't fit my business style which is one on one with my customers with nobody between us. I generally provide custom orders that often change and I need the flexibility of instant $$ adjustments. Most often shipping costs are unknown until the package is cut, wrapped and weighed. At that point I charge shipping costs.

Please include your purchased items by name and control number and I'll go back thru the list to confirm pricing.

Here's a direct link to my web Geo Trust secure contact form for shipping and credit card info, but if it doesn't work just go to www.galleryhardwoods.com and click on the menu contact button. I'll confirm email receipt back to you....cheers...Larry

I don't have makore neck stock from that particular wood, but I
have a figured Makore timber somewhere in the shop that might make
scarf neck blank. I recall it being somewhat QS. I came across it
awhile back. I'll have another look around, but these things tend to
hide behind other stuff. It is heavy stuff.
Great, Larry. I'll take a Bubinga set when you get an opportunity t

Great, Larry. I'll take a Bubinga set when you get an
opportunity to cut some more. And don't worry about finding Makore neck
stock if you don't have the time. I've got some 4/4 Makore boards in
the shop... they just don't have the same fantastic figures yours do. A
set of that "A" figure Makore will be quite enough, thanks.

Larry,
That is fine not using paypal. CC is just fine. However, your contact page is not secure. I don't want to put my credit card information on a non-secure page. To check if it is secure in IE, you should see a little gold padlock in the bottom right of the browser. I do not see this. Is this normal, or is there something wrong with my browser?
(Makore)Type "B" is getting a bad wrap due to my poor photo with the flash back...it's really a great figure.    Maybe I'll retake the photo.
Larry, I think if all you had shown was "Type B", you would have sold a lot of Type B. It really is gorgeous figure, and a real bargain at $45 a set! Another photo couldn't hurt, maybe one with the pattern flipped (so the curls run from the joint down and out to the lower bouts.)

How well quartersawn is the edge of the board for "Type A" (block mottle) Makore, that will become the joint? I know block mottle does not mirror perfectly in a bookmatch, even if the wood is dead-on 90° vertical quartersawn - I'm just curious.

Tracy, it's coming up when you hit submit. Don't know why yet. It is secure, but do what's comfortable. Submit all the info except card and look for the lock to come up. Earthlink had a bit of trouble with their GeoTrust pages awhile back. My web guy is looking into why the lock isn't up full time. Click on the GeoTrust symbol.

I didn't get a secure site when I did it at first either, but when you change the http:// to https:// it changes to a secure link.  I had the same apprehension as Tracy did until I made the change and got a secure connection.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In some psychological theories, the Type A personality, also known as the Type A Behavior Pattern, is a set of characteristics that includes being impatient, excessively time-conscious, insecure about one's status, highly competitive, hostile and aggressive, and incapable of relaxation.

Do I need to worry about choosing Makore type A?

James, I'll take the custom orders until Brock calls time. He's said he'll leave the edit button functioning for a bit after time is called and I'll update the custom cut list for the final tally tonight after the meet is officially closed.

I can do a couple more flamed cherry sets also @ $45.00

Larry,

If you are cutting some more of the curly bubinga I would also like a set. I'm in no hurry so you can take your time. Just let me know if its ok.

Philip

Larry,

Sorry for waiting until the last minutes, but do you have one more set of the Sycamore from yesterday. It's not on the request list, but I thought I'd ask. Either way, thanks for all the great sets.

Greg

Most orders are ready and waiting for the UPS pickup today, Monday except some orders that included custom cut requests. UPS shipping notices went out for these. All these will be shipped by Wednesday. The custom cut wood is staged and will be converted into sets over the next couple days. Some orders with custom cuts have delayed shipping until I return from Atlanta and I appreciate it.

I still need to hear from a few folks with their shipping and payment details. If I don't get the info soon, I can't ship until I return from Atlanta.

This was a great lot of fun and I really appreciate all the support. Larry
