Ken, I got my plans the same place as Hesh. Though Hesh is building with a 25.4 scale, the plans are for the 24.9 scale. I just built mine 24.9, if I don't really like it I can always make the next one 25.4

Hesh,

What color burst are you doing under the FP on the top?
You can put a couple coats of shellac on the top, then burst it by hand.
A very well-known high-end builder does his bursts by hand, and I think they look great.
I'd be dissappointed if one of your guitars didn't have a burst or at least a toned top.

How about some vintage amber at least?

It's a depression-era, small-bodied Gibson. Similar to a Martin 00, but different. Built extremely light. Collings makes one, and I think Santa Cruz does too. They're catchin' on.
