Ok I finally got the shipping stuff figured out. So here goes:

Canada - $39 USD plus $3.50 shipping TOTAL = $42.50 USD

USA - $39 USD plus $4.50 shipping TOTAL = $43.50 USD

Australia - #39 USD plus $7.25 shipping = $46.25 USD

You can Paypal to my account:

shane@highmountaintonewood.com.

I will place the order Friday morning Pacific Time.

As to stabilizers, I confirmed the price for percision ground spacers .125" thick and they are (much) more than double the price of the ones at Lee Valley, but they are thinner. So I will not order stabilizers from this same manufacturer. If you are keen on thin or special sized stabilizers contact me as I think I have a source to have them made individually in small volumes but still probably more costly than the Lee Valley ones, but local machine shops can probably set you up also.

Once again the blade specs will be as follows:

6" dia, 5/8 arbor, .025" kerf, 110 teeth.

So you can send funds now, I will order the blades on Friday, they will be 6-8 weeks in manufacturing and I will get them out to you all the day after I get them. I will have all of the packageing done before hand so that you can get them as fast as possible.

Thanks

Shane Shane Neifer38721.7231712963

Guys...I just wanted to confirm which stabilizers to buy from Lee Valley...3.5" or 5"?

JJ, I'm going to get the 5" set. Shane trade a 5" blade, same thickness as the one we are getting with the 3.5" stiffeners and didn't seem to have any problems. Still, I think the extra "insurance" is a good idea.

I agree with Rod, get the 5" stabilizers. That leaves a 1/2" of exposed blade, that is about perfect. I am just finishing off the bracing on my guitar then I will get at designing the slotting jig.

Thanks

Shane

Shane, if it wouldn't cause any problems I would like to opt out at this point. I will be moving (house and shop) in the next 4-6 weeks and am not sure where to have the blade sent. Also, I have way more than I want to move already.

If opting out is a problem, maybe you could go ahead and get me one and hold it till I know where I'll be when you get them.

I ordered lots Mark, I got a few extra for those that couldn't make it to the deal in time. So you are covered. I put the order in very early this morning.
