Hesh my friend, hopefully something can be done, my sentiments are the same as all the others and don't want to see you go. Good luck and I hope things work out real soon.

Good grief, this is stunning.
Hesh, Lacey, it's always a pleasure seeing your posts.
I don't know what we're going to do without you around here.
I hope this works itself out quickly.

Hesh and Lacey, add me to the "if there is anything I can do!" list! Man! I know how hard this can be. I had a similiar problem when I started this business but time has kind of solved the problem....I sure hope things work out for the two of you.

All the very best!

Shane
I don't really want to see the OLF become like another luthier forum, but perhaps it would be useful to add a step or two to the registration process to screen people a little better. There also would be an argument for making the forum private so that the oft-discussed problem of "do we want players to be reading these conversations/seeing these prices" would be eliminated.

Andrew
Thought seconded, if this is the only way to keep a brother and sister with us, i'm all for that Andrew, i love your username BTW.

Tonight i'm lighting up a candle, just put it near the computer screen so Hesh and Lacey find their way back home, here at the OLF, our sanctuary, our home, no one has the right to take them away from us, they are family to us.

Dear Lord, i put my full trust in you that you shall guide Hesh and Lacey back here safely, you are always there in time of crisis and this is one. I leave this matter in Your Mighty hands oh Lord, You shall decide of the outcome, Amen!

God bless each and everyone of you

So sorry to hear about this Hesh & Lacey. Some people sure can be jerks...Although I really haven't posted much recently, I always read your upbeat threads, input & views. They will be greatly missed . As well as all the great guitars you guys have churned out...

I'll echo what Steve of Colonial Tonewoods said, don't let anyone ever get in front of what you love to do. There has to be a way around this weirdness! Hire a detective & nail this nutcase.

Hesh and Lacey,

I am very sad to hear that someone has decided to lower themselves to this level. Your posts are an inspiration, and I enjoy reading them, not to mention that I have learned a great deal. I am going to stay hopeful that a solution will present itself, so that you can remain here where you belong.

Jeff

Very Twighlight Zone-esque.

Sorry to hear your troubles. I haven't met you personally, but I always enjoy your work and your comments. I agree that you should consider going undercover with an alias for the forum, because you are very appreciated here.

Cyber or not, stalking is stalking. Please get law enforcement involved in this if you haven't already.

It's chilling to think about, but avoiding the OLF will not prevent your stalker from finding another way to get at you. If simply avoiding the person were going to work, it already would have.

At some point you're going to have to take a stand and fight back, and the best way to start is to involve law enforcement. It's not only that they can track down the stalker and help put a stop to the activity, they also can advise you of ways to enhance your personal safety while this is going on.

You can find some useful information here.

Meanwhile, don't go to far away — a lot of us would miss you terribly.

I can't believe something like this has happened here! Hesh and Lacey, my prayers are with you that this will be resolved quickly and finally. I don't know much about this kind of thing but the general opinion around the OLF to get the authorities involved seems sound. Man, if I knew who this fool was I'd get a pair of pilers and a blowtorch and get medevial....seriously though, I hope that when all this is over you two will come back to the forum. I can't imagine logging in and not seeing you!

Peace,
Larry
I agree. I think you need to contact the authorities. If not for yourselves, I think you have an obligation to stop this jerk before he turns on someone else, which he will.

Evil exists only when good people allow to.

I'm sorry if this seems harsh. I really like you guys and and being selfish in wanting you to stay. I know it is much easier for me to say it than for you to do it. If I can help, please let me know.

The person probably isn't a jerk - the person is probably ill. And that
illness is causing trauma for everyone involved. While it's easy to post
deathwishes, I hope for bigger behavior from the few of you I know.

Now for something light-hearted. There's a very simple reason Hesh
can't use a psuedonym. Would anyone ever really believe the new guy
building a guitar a month isn't Hesh???

Bravo! Bravo! Bravo!

What can I say!? We ARE a family here!

Hesh, Lacey. This is great! I am doing back flips here in Montana!

The offer is still there on my end as I am sure it is from everyone else - If you two need anything, and I mean ANYTHING. Let us know. We will figure out a way to make it happen.

I am so feeling the love...

-Mark

Way to stand up proud you guys. I am sooooo glad that you will be staying, I was sure hoping you would. We are here for you and will be right beside you.

Now, everyone, keep your eyes peeled and stay alert so as we can nab this person and do our best to get them out of here.

So, is there any way of us knowing who this person's user name is? how many they may have etc.... We can all police our little community if we have some more information.

I just really want the best for Hesh and Lacey and for our community and if we can somehow get the message across to this individual that they are not welcome here, that may help, I don't know. I sure would hate for any backfire to wards Hesh and Lacey though......

I think you may know what I mean.

Therefore…….. we will not allow ourselves to be driven away from the people that we adore and the hobbies that we love........

With this said we will remain on the OLF and participate as we have and as we wish......
Woo Hoo!

I'm glad on a personal level because I like you guys and also because it is the right thing to do.
Good for you two!
