Darn Hesh! I just moved my shop into the bathroom, I wanted to soften the blow to the OLF just in case you and Lacey really did leave. Now I have to move everything back
Glad you are back friend!
Evan

I spent over 30 years in law enforcememt, and this is a felony in I think every state. I am sure you have filed complaints with locals and DA as that is first step. KEEP ON THEM. In most states, stalking and threats go to many other felonies including a newer statue terroistic threats. Your a victim in this and having to discontinue something like OLF is what this nut case wants. That is what makes a stalker in many cases dangerous, but what they thrive on. Keeping you from doing what you would do is making them feel impowered (new phrase I learned last few years in sex crimes and insurance fraud courses) I don't know if I can help, but I still can come up with some resoures to see. Might note if going across mail, I think internet and state lines, could be a fed issue. Been out of that end for awhile. Let me know PM or however you need if need anything. Was a Marine Sniper and SWAT guy many years also, but don't think that would work out to well for me now, but hey.

Whew! I'm back in the regular universe! I'm glad your exile was short lived.

As for the perpetrator...let's sunburst and feather him!

Awesome news Hesh. It would've truly been a shame to see you and Lacey go. You both have been extremely positive and supportive on this forum. Welcome back!

I don't really want to see the OLF become like another luthier forum, but perhaps it would be useful to add a step or two to the registration process to screen people a little better. There also would be an argument for making the forum private so that the oft-discussed problem of "do we want players to be reading these conversations/seeing these prices" would be eliminated.

Andrew
Thought seconded, if this is the only way to keep a brother and sister with us, i'm all for that Andrew, i love your username BTW.

Tonight i'm lighting up a candle, just put it near the computer screen so Hesh and Lacey find their way back home, here at the OLF, our sanctuary, our home, no one has the right to take them away from us, they are family to us.

Dear Lord, i put my full trust in you that you shall guide Hesh and Lacey back here safely, you are always there in time of crisis and this is one. I leave this matter in Your Mighty hands oh Lord, You shall decide of the outcome, Amen!

God bless each and everyone of you
An amen here Serge.

I could have started a separate thread about this but i thought it would be nice to include you both and all our OLF family in the fun that we had at my place tonight, my Bud Alain Desforges stopped by tonight to show us his really sweeeeet no 2 and let me tell you all that you need ear plugs to play that awesome axe, Alain designed everything on both his first 2 guitars and Man am i proud to be his bro!!!!! My Mom and Dad joined in the fun and we played Alain's, my Mom's and my gift from Hesh and also a bit of mandolin, just like in the old days, sudden fun right there on the spot! My wife took all the pics. Coincidently, Hesh and Lacey called between 2 sets and i felt priviledged to live so much happiness at once!

Al, me and Dad

My Dad

Al, me and Mom

I AM AN OLF'ER!AND DARN PROUD OF IT!

Serge

I was almost in tears over this, they would of been manly tears, of course, manly tears!

    I was really getting PO'd!!

I got a pretty good idea who this person is and I was gonna suggest we get Marshal Krangenbrink and anybody else and we load up and ride!

We would of been "smoking wierdos outta their holes" tonight! I tell you what!

Hesh Brother, If you need any help let us know! We'll have a posse in no time, I'm sure the Brits and the Aussies will ride with us too!

Best to you and Lacey on this!

Don't forget us crazy Canucks Billy, we like to ride, only problem is we tend to sit backwards on the saddle

Glad you two are still with us. Anything I can do to help just let me know.

I really want to see how the tiger myrtle guitar looks, you had me worried

This is great news. I guess I wont need to post the long letter of support and of course how much you would be missed. Instead I get to welcome you back to the OLF family. I am sure that many will be pleased at your choice.

Best Regards,

Philip

Please rememeber to at least look in from time to time. I am saddened for you and pray for you safety. I hope you can pop an email once in a while as I look at the OLF as a hang out of my friends.
I hope the lowlife that has done this to you will see what he is doing and stop and get a life of his own.
yours
john hall
