or TWO! ![]() A few weeks ago there was a post about McKnight guitars being in a guitar store in Franklin called Artisan Guitars. Well, just so happens my wife and I went to Nashville for a 2 day vacation this past weekend. I made a point to stop by Artisan and play a guitar from a fellow OLFer. All I can say is WOW! The ported OM was AWESOME. That's the first time I ever played a ported guitar. I fell in love with the dread. Oh my. I've never played a factory guitar even close. So, Mr. McKnight, you are an amazing luthier. Here's some pics. The folks that run Artisan are awesome. They mainly stock individual luthiers, with a few Santa Cruz and Larivee hand mades. There's a small G underneath the strings near the bridge on the OM and dread. It's a clear static cling pickguard that Artisan puts on their guitars when they're played. They wipe each guitar with a soft cloth after they're played. They take extremely good care of their merchandise. I'm really not evil, the somehow camera redeye makes me look that way ![]() ![]() ![]() |
