Hesh, Ive been listening to NPR for a week now and this story pretty much has dominated the time I am tuned in. I would have loved to see AF1 flying over. I was looking as I was driving home yesterday at 2:30, but didn't see anything. |

It's certainly a big deal here in West Michigan. I heard someone on the radio yesterday quoting Ford as saying that his golf game was improving...he was hitting fewer spectators now. Level-headed, plain speaking, a sense of humor and dignified in a powerful office that he never sought--definately our most unusual president. |

My condolences to all our American brethren. Mr Ford was also known as a good man here, the funerals have been all over the news in our country for at least a week now, may his memory live on. Best regards Serge |
At least he never shot a lawyer in the face with a shotgun……..
I'm confused Hesh buddy! You make that sound like it's a bad thing! I was never a fan of Ford - pardon, pueblo..., but I always got the impression he was a decent guy! Don't forget he would fall down now and then! I think history will remember him kind of like a Rutherford B. Hayes, just a good balanced President. (Err, no pun intended) Very bad time in American history. |
