Very cool John. I'm still reeling from the experience. And by the way... I still haven't washed my hand! |

Congratulations John How. Tell us all about it. Whose guitar is this? Having never heard Emmanuel, I can only guess how good he is. Time to buy a CD of his work, can anyone make a recommendation? Someone gave me a CD of early Leo Kottke work Chrysalis Years. It's incredible, kinda retro, but I found myself completely enjoying it. So how about it, what CD of Emmanuel would anyone recommend? Thanks, and congrats John. Do you have to protect signatures like this, looks like it might be easy to wear off? I agree, that is beautiful penmanship, and the guitar woweee, it sparkles. |

Bruce, someone posted this here not too long ago, but go check out the Woodsongs show archive at http://www.woodsongs.com/showlist.asp. It's show #245, and there's a dialup-friendly 8 meg audio version of the show if you don't have broadband. It'll at least give you a little taste of what he's like. I still don't have any of his CDs, but I'm planning on seeing him when he plays here in March, hopefully pick up one or two at the gig. I'm thinking I'll go with 'Only', which is a solo acoustic project of his. |

Hi guys, This is a guitar that I made last summer for a client in Chico ca. It is what I call a little jumbo, 15" lower bout and I forget what the upper bout is but it's smaller than most similar designs. This one has a EIRosewood back & sides and an Engleman top. My client is a big Tommy fan and wanted to have it autographed. He felt the need to ask me if I would be offeneded but why would I. I think he has a couple more pics of Mr Emmanuel playing it at the meet & greet after the show but I don't have them yet. Bruce, I have one of his cd's called "Endless Road". I think it is the newest and it is very good, but not as good as seeing him in person. His show is absolutely fantastic. |

Bruce...A couple of albums to consider..."Only" and "Endless Road". Both are great examples of his versatility and skill. Most of his works are original compositions. I know you'll enjoy...JJ |
