[/QUOTE] I'm not a photagrapher by any means, but one tip I can give you is to find a less busy background for your instrument, and more importantly, avoid lighting it from behind, it leaves the instrument really dark. |

Thanks gang! af: Pickguard is the plastic tortise from Stewmac. James: The slope in the saddle is just a product of running the slot the entire length of the bridge, then profiling the the saddle to follow the slopes on the wings of the bridge - the old Martins were done in this manner. Steal away - I did! 
Tom: Number 4 is almost done - strings will go on this week. It is for a friend in Reno. EIR and Carpathian Dread, Bois D' Rose fretboard and bridge, Herringbone purfling, abalone rosette, and curly maple binding. After that, I've got an F5 I've been avoiding, then two more mahogany dreads... I'm gonna build dreads until I can build 'em the way I want!  Although there is an OM on the blocks for a good friend of mine in Chico CA, that won't happen until spring.

Love the overall look of your guitar. The rosette, B&S wood and long head stock & long saddle are all outstanding, as well as the workmanship

It's a beaut... I'm a French polishing fan and you've done a tremendous job here. The elbow grease has paid off. Love the choice of woods and bindings. |

Beautiful! I'm sure you remember, there was a time you'd be run out of town here for posting a dread let alone saying you planned to make more.... Glad to see you posting it here. Although I'm sure I heard someone say there goes the neighborhood... Just remind them we're a diverse crowd here now days. Why I've even seen a few sunbursts around the OLF
