In my last thread asking for advice about fitting the neck joint I was asked to post some progress pics. Here they are.

Its taken about 3 months so far but the ends in sight !

So anyway a few Pics:

The Body

Decided to keep things simple for my first - No Purflings !

Rough neck fitted to body

Next step - The fretboard.............. Cachalote39094.4927083333

Cheers

Coming on very nicely, I like the aesthetics, it's going to look great under a bit of French polish

Cach, that's a good looking box man. Congratulations. I thought you were joking that you are in Spain. Then I see your MYspace and sure enough you are in Barcelona. Excellent work.

One of those photos, the guitar appears to be floating in air... optical illusion since it's turned 90 degrees.

I couldn't read a single word on your Myspace, what language is that?

Thanks for the kind comments guys. This place has been a great help so far and I really apreciate the help I've recieved.

Hopefully I'll be able to make some progress on the neck over the weekend.

The guitar is looking very nice. The wood is really going to pop under a finish.
