Here is a little update to Saturdays work. We had an ice storm on Sunday so we stayed home from Church and I got the whole day in the shop! YaHoo! Here is the 0-12 in the "Ugly Duckling stage" binding and purfing channels are cut and today will be getting bound,(nuther ice day). We were hammered with ice all last night. So long as we have power ill be logging shop time ![]() Someone asked about the Rosette in the other post, its a nice chocolate brown piece of Brazilian Rosewood. The guitar will have BRW bindings and fretboard too. |

Can i be a dope too, if i understand Martin's specs, an O-12 would be smaller than a O-18 right? Nice work! |

Serge, I think Lance means it's a 12-fretter. A size 0 is a size 0 no matter what the designation. In the Martin line, the designations -18, -28, -45 etc. refer to the appointments/wood, not the size. A -18 refers to a mahogany guitar, black trim. A -28 refers to a rosewood guitar with the typical style 28 appointments. |

And a -45 designation is all blinged out with abalone purflings on both top and back, around the fretboard extension. When you get the Clapton's guitar book, there is a lot of Martin history unfolded for you. Lance, that is sure going to be a nice guitar. Is that one of Jason Voth's cedar tops or is that redwood? |

Lance Very nice as usual. Your work is always so clean!!!! Just curious, how did you brace it? I have made one 0-12 and I don't like the sound of it. Do you have a pict of the inside??? Thanks |
