Hey Lance...if you don't mind me asking, why do you use reverse-kerfed linings on the back, and traditional angled linings on the top? Just curious.

Your work is so CLEAN...that's artful.

Bill, no reason, just cuz
Hesh, that taped off back is a Malaysian Black wood E2 for HGF. I tape off the back before paring and sanding the braces to protect it from those nasty little sanding scratches. Also, no this is not sealed on the inside.

The Malaysian blackwood looks quite elegant ... great job on the bookmatching.

I was looking at your neck joint -- I didn't realize you do them that way. Do you bolt your fingerboard extension down as well?

The cocobolo is certainly spectacular as it sits, its going to be unbelievable under a finish.

You are quite a craftsman. That is about as clean an assembly as I have seen. I really like the way you sand the B&S to a shean!

Ron, I dont use side braces except on dreadnoughts. Bigger flatter sides that are more flexable.
