Hey folks, I've looked at your labels in the archives. I'm trying to come up with a professional looking label. As of now, I've been printing them out on regular laser paper on my computer, and glueing them in with elmers white glue. My question(s), Do you have print shops make your label? and how do you glue them into the guitar. Do you use white glue? If anyone can give me a good detail way of getting good looking labels like many of you have, and what glue to apply them with, would be very much appreciated. |

Hey Mark: I will eventually get mine printed by a print shop, but I haven't found one that will even call me back! ![]() -Mark |

3M two sided adhesive...peel and stick one side to the label, then peel other side of the backing paper and stick in guitar. I comes in an approx 2.5" wide roll so my label (based on a business card size, drops right onto it and I trim to final fit. I use a 24 lbs Ivory parchment (Southworth) that is available at Staples and an ink jet HP printer. Look at last weeks thread about "when one of your kids comes home" for a photo of the label. |
