This is it, my 2000 post, so I'm now officially Brazilianed! I'd like it known though that my allegiance is still to mahogany, and the BRW only refers to fingerboards and bridges. And, I've run out of BRW fingerboards  so I think you should all send me one in recognition of this momentous moment in OLF history.

Congrats "Mahog Man" Colin, pay yourself a treat today, order a set of mahogany back and sides, bring your wife to dinner, hear the birds sing, have a creme brulee in Paris and come back home to play some lute!

Colin, I, and I am sure most of the amateur/new lithiers, appreciate your (and in this I include all of the "senior" members that contribute) willingness to share the knowledge you have gained through many hours of experience freely with us. Enjoy your new "level of contribution" to us

I believe "Brazilian" refer to a personal wax process.... I don't want to think about it! |
