...so I come home from work yesterday to find that our HVAC unit had died. My wife hadn't made it home yet so at around 5pm I find out that we have no heat from the central unit for the night
. We do have a fireplace, though it only heats the livingroom. Being in Alabama it was only in the 30's last night, but tonight it's going to get colder. We went to Lowe's and bought 2 electric heaters and some firewood (I don't like making fires, makes me nervous). Repairman is supposed to come by around 1 today. I had to make an executive decision. The zoot did not get heated, although, it still has the humidifier. I hope temperature alone won't make it crack
