Hi everyone
I tried posting this on luthiers auctions last week but encountered an
error that would't let me procede.
I have a heating blanket, temp. control, and thermometer that I received
from John Hall about a month ago. It worked like a charm and my sides
bent just fine. Working with the temp control was much nicer than the
blanket I used a few years ago (and ruined after forgetting to unplug)
without one.
I had actually planned on keeping the blanket in case I decide to build
another acoustic, but hadn't planned on picking some other things up (a
new mic and a peterson strobostomp tuner). Because I'm uncertain about
my future projects that will involve bending, I'd like to move this and
apply the sale towards the other purchases I made (just like with the mic I
had for sale last week in the off topic section).
I picked it up for $132 on ebay and will sell the package for $100 with
minimal use and one extra thing.
- 6x32" heating blanket, 120V
- temperature control
- digital thermometer
- The extra thing is a roll of aluminum material I used for slats. Now, the
aluminum can possibly stain your wood, so it needs to be wrapped in
paper. If you wrap in wet paper anyway, this isn't an issue.
PM me if you're interested.
