Chris, nice take on a classic -- not overdone. How many of those Bud Lights
did it take to finish the guitar? Your dad should be blown away. I'm never
sure who gets the most enjoyment out of these situations -- the giver or the
recipient. Either way, let us know how he likes it. Nice work.

Hey Im a big Mustang fan and have been my whole life, especially the 2+2 fastbacks which are just toooooooo sexy. I like that guitar very much, Im wondering how did you get a bridge to match the contour of the mustang side scoop profile - or was that just a co-incidence?
Good Job!

Hey Chris,
Great job on the Mustang Electric.
The inlay is quite stunning, I just love the running mustang logo of Ford.
Reminds me of the red '66 I had when I got married over thirty years ago.
Your Dad is gonna love it. Most college kids are doing good to remember a card, much less afford the card....
Congrats on a fine conclusion.
Take a pic of your Dad with his wild beast. bd

You got me, Chris! When I read your header, I thought, "Oh no, another Fender clone." That's a really appealing design--too bad it won't get played!

Have you seen the corvette side scoop custom shop Les Paul models, out a few years back?
Same idea but with nice chromed corvette sidescoops from the 56 era vettes I believe.
Cheers

Charlie,

I have seen those LPs. I have to say, though, that Chris' is cooler! Just my opinion, of course.
