Great looking guitar. And I like the idea of using a veneer for the fingerboard dots- a lot cheaper than shell inlay, and just as nice looking. ![]() ![]() |

Thanks fellas! ![]() Wayne, the fingerboard dots were cut from thin veneers that i bought at Lee Valley, a lifetime supply for $50 Can, easy to pierce with that paper piercing tool that i forget the name! ![]() Thanks Hesh! ![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks Gene, oh and i forgot, the colleection of veneers in the box that Lee Valley sells has tremendous variety! ![]() CHEERS |

Thanks Terry, the fretboard design was inspired by Kevin Gallagher actually but it was a pain to bend the laminations in there though, Kevin has skills that i don't have yet especially with inlaying. ![]() Merci beaucoup Docteur Andy, mon ami! ![]() Terry too? Serge |

Thanks Tim, one other nice things about the Lee Valley veneers was that i used some as side braces and i also plan on using 3 layers of them to make a wooden pickguard, i think it should give the guitar some artsy feeling. Oh and i will also try to come up with my own logo, using them veneers! ![]() Cheers |
