If the Bears are wearing their dark jerseys, they win by a score of 27-20. If they are in their white jerseys, they win 17-13. A true fan doesn't need to have a logical reason! |

My husband is staying up all night to watch it...I'm gonna give him some peace and quiet tommorow morning to sleep in...which means a wonderfully long sunny hillwalk with my youngest!!! |

I'm so thankful for a super bowl I'm excited about! This one's going to be great. Even my mom is excited about it. I overheard her on the phone about an hour ago: "Oh, he's the one in all those cute commercials. Right, Peyton Manning." She watched her first game two weeks ago during the AFC championship. I explained my philosophy to her. "I don't actually enjoy every game I watch, but it's like reading:" (she's a librarian, reads every night). "You need to read everything to find that moment of magic. Same with football. Every season has a few minutes of magic, and if you miss it, too bad." |

I haven't seen the super bowl in 10 or 12 years. Can't get into pro sports at all. But I hope your team wins. Ron |

I honestly don't care who wins. I've made the discovery tonight that when your team isn't in the game, you aren't so nerved up and tense while watching it, so you can enjoy it more. I vote for having all the Superbowls played in domes though. The rain is ridiculous... |

Turnovers in the second half will determine winner! Sure is a fun one to watch. |

Prince? Where'd they dig that guy up from? Worst half-time show ever. I guess he was safe though, with little danger of a "wardrobe malfunction". |

I guess Grossman was no match for Manning! Really though, I didn't have a favorite in this game. It is nice to see Peyton finally get a ring though. |

I saw a strange game on the TV in our work smoko room this afternoon. Aparently, it's called gridiron and they were playing in a super bowl. And then Prince came out and started to sing... That's where I decided this game wasn't for me. ![]() As you can probably tell, we don't get much american football in Australia. What, between aussie rules footy, rugby league (also called footy), and the cricket there's barely enough time for the rugby union, tennis and the soccer, let alone gridiron. I think I've watched more gridiron in movies than actual games (the Replacements stands out as a good but cheesy one, or Any Given Sunday I think it's called with Al Pacino in it). p.s. How can the trophy be a "World Cup" when only American teams play in the league? Surely it could only be a "World Cup" if it was a world wide competition? |

They're just too afraid to show up and play! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Actually I'm a huge fan of Aussie rules but we don't get it here! It's on TV... we just don't get it! ![]() ![]() ![]() |
