I wanted to thank Rod True and all who participated in that final
auction that was so generously held to help me out as I'm preparing to
get back into my shop. It was another great surprize that came at the best
time possible. The layoff since July has been a tough one on my family,
but it would been alot more discouraging had it not been for all of you.

Thanks again to all who so generously gave to loosen things up for us
a little. I look forward to being able to be a part of similar efforts to help
others as they need it in the future.

I'm recovering steadily, though slowly, and am looking forward to
getting back into the shop as soon as I can lift my arm above my waist
under its own power. Range of motion is full in all directions now, but the
strength is showing itself to be a much more difficult thing to recover. I've
been a little frustrated with the slower progress since we started more
aggressive efforts to promote the reactivation of the movement of those
muscles that needed to be reattached to the bones in my shoulder. It's
also a much more painful part of the whole process.

It was amazing to have received all of the help that we did from all of
you here at the OLF. My family and I can't thank you all enough.

Rod, you're a great friend and we thank you for coordinating that
auction and for thinking of us as you did.

Sorry for the delay in posting a thank you, but we've had a few bugs
hit the house in the past week so I haven't been online much.

All the best,
Kevin Gallagher/Omega Guitars

Kevin I too am glad to hear that things are moving along well and hope that your recovery will be swift and the healing will be full very very soon.

Just to help clarify things a bit, I wasn't the one who organized the last auction, I was the winner of the auction and the Tim Spittle of Australian Tonewoods and Kim Hickey another great Auzzie brother were the two who organized and arranged for this great auction on Kevin's behalf.

Kevin, I'm sure that with three auctions and a large cash donation from various OLF member, this has been "jaw dropping" to say the least. Thank you for your acknowledgment to all involved. Your very welcome my friend.

We certainly look forward to your full recovery and some great progress pictures of your very fine instruments and also any other generous ventures like the Africa Orphanage guitar.

I'd love to hear how the auction for that fine instrument went if you are able to let us all know, I'm sure the masses would also love to know.

Also thanks again to Tim for your very generous donation of what I'm calling the "Outback" guitar materials, it's going to a good cause as a gift guitar (fitting I think all things considered). I'll be sure to post progress pics once I get the materials and start on construction.

And last but not least, long live the OLF for bringing all of us together.

Kevin, everyone that participated gave with their hearts to what they believed was a worthy cause.... once again what goes around comes around and the promise that "someone" is watching over you is fullfilled.

Like Rod said, you can bless us whenever you can and post some pics of the Africa Orphanage guitar.

I thank you for giving your heart and time to those much needy children....

The money that we all sent wasn't ours Kevin, it was already yours. So were the good things created by your hands, they were not yours, just borrowed for a certain time and they had to change hands.

The person that you are has already given so much but being who you are, i'm sure that many will be touched once again and for a very long time.

That's one of the reasons i sit at my computer desk every night, even after a year, i'm still considering the OLF brethren like my family and i've only met maybe 20 some folks from here in person but feel that i know most of you, bros and sisters alike coming together for one of us in need...

Ya all know that you have my loyalty.

Serge

My heartfelt thanks go out to Tim Spittle of Australian Tonewoods and
Kim Hickey another great Auzzie for their very gracious and generous
efforts in holding that great auction that Rod won.

I'm continually amazed at the kindness that has been shown to my famly
and I through and by all of you her at the OLF.

Tim and Kim, a goal of ine is to visit Australia one day. I've always tought
it to be a incredibly diverse and beautiful place and just want o see it
firsthand.

I'll look forward o meeting and getting to know both of you when I'm
able to get there. It'll be the highlight of the trip for me, i'm sure.

Thanks again to both of you and all others involved in the auction.
Congrats to you, Rod for ending up with such a great prize as you won it !

All the best and sorry for the confusion in my initial post,
Kevin Gallagher/Omega Guitars

Serge my friend,

I share many of those same feelings about the people here at the OLF.
This is my first stop online each time I flip my laptop open to surf around
a little.

Thanks for being you brother,
Kevin
